Spearfishing in Belize

Have you ever dreamed of spearfishing in the Caribbean? Do you want to experience the thrill of hunting for your own seafood? Then you should join us for a spearfishing adventure in Belize!

Spearfishing is an ancient and sustainable way of fishing that involves diving with a mask, snorkel, fins and a spear. You will discover the amazing patch reefs near the Cayes, where you will find a variety of fish, lobsters, conchs and crabs. You will also have the chance to hunt the invasive lionfish, which are harming the coral reefs. By spearfishing them, you are helping to protect the marine ecosystem and biodiversity.

It is not only fun and exciting, but also rewarding. You will get to savor the fruits of your labor by cooking and eating your catch. Imagine having a fresh lobster or fish barbecued on the beach, or making a mouthwatering ceviche with conch and lime juice. You will taste the difference between fresh and frozen seafood, and feel proud of your achievement.

Spearfishing in Belize is legal and regulated, as long as you are free-diving and not using scuba equipment. The only exception is for lionfish, which can be hunted with scuba gear. You will need some experience in snorkeling and diving. We will provide you with all the necessary equipment and guidance, as well as safety tips and best practices.

Join us for a day of spearfishing and discover the wonders of the underwater world. You will have fun, learn how to catch your own fish, and admire the stunning coral reefs and marine life. This is a unique opportunity to live like a local fisherman and enjoy the beauty of the Caribbean sea.
